Make Relationships

As a business major, I've constantly been advised to network, network, network... Some of us haven't come to the realization that the definition of "networking" initially means to find a purpose in someone in order to further your business. This simply means, my interpretation, you're making a connection based on their utility to you. 

In our daily lives we are constantly speaking and communicating with others. My perspective is that instead of finding a purpose in a connection, make a relationship and get to know the person. 

Many of us get so carried away by focusing on utility of an object that we forget the beauty of a simple relationship. We were designed to love and interact with eachother.  

Take the time to say Hi, and really get to know someone, who knows if maybe you have something in common or are heading towards the same goals.
