Happy First of August!
* First things first, I am not a certified Data Analytics professional.. This is my business experience.
This isn’t a typical post, let me know what you think. I feel this perspective may be used personally, and also when analyzing your business. Hopefully, it supports you!
…
Does your business check in weekly on your sales and marketing performance?
In my experience I have seen a few amazing companies that were “on point” with their KPI’s… They check in weekly, keep on another accountable, and so forth. Unfortunately, I have also see a large amount of companies world-wide, small, larger, old, new, disconnected from this sense of tracking.
This is crazy for me, Knowing that we have this technological Boom happening… Artificial intelligence, machine learning, car sharing, 3d printing, you name it!
There’s something that I think people still aren’t aware of... or maybe they are aware but at the same time afraid of ...which is to track your performance.
Whether you measure your personal… or business performance…. There is something sincere when you can say.. “Hey this ad was posted on 23.05.2019 and this was the following created, and this is the Return we got for this post.” This feedback loop then creates positive and honest changes (not always easy though!).
It would be so much easier to pay a few dollars/pesos/euros and gain an output of followers… but will it take you closer to your goal of sales? Is it going to bring more clients to your restaurant? What is your goal now-a-days?
The more often business owners/employees check in and measure their metrics.. the sooner and better they prepare their team to reach goals.
#brainfood for thought:
How are you tracking and using analytics? Are you subscribed to a service, yet? Is it the best one? How often do you review and shift?
Do you know your customer? Where and what do they do? What is your future customer? New Generation?
What is your company Vision? Where are you heading? What is it that you want to create? Are you creating legacy?
This is all extremely important, and what’s even more important is the quote posted the other day:
Spiritual Thought of the Day:
Do you feel this ever in your life? Why can’t I be more consistent?
How come this is so difficult for me?
Just when you are almost at the top of the mountain you begin to question yourself?
I am guilty of that! Sometimes I used to really doubt myself before reaching my goal, and MAN did I have to get my head in gear! Lots of practice! Now I catch myself, and find myself instinctively reassuring myself. “Isa, you’ve got this. This is the moment! Keep Going!” (Thanks Mom for all the peptalks)
What are some things that support you when you are needing that extra “push”?
One thing I love to do is write in a Journal, log my to do’s. My affirmations, my goals, fitness… you name it.
Secondly, my Calendar. Once it’s on there with the color coding, I am doing it!
I am my Word.
I am grateful for all of you, and appreciate your replies <3
